Doctor Hawass gave several lectures which included a section on the shaft under the causeway or "Tomb Of Osiris". It was also discussed in radio broadcasts by Boris Said and J. j. Hurtack among others. He started by describing the location of the shaft being ninety feet underneath the ground between the second pyramid and the Sphinx.

You're probably thinking of Dr. Zahi Hawass (1947 - ), the prominent Egyptian Egyptologist, who has both impressive academic credentials in the field, and has been on television numerous times (History Channel, Discovery Channel, live television events on Fox) to elucidate this knowledge and theories.

It was Doctor Zahi Hawass. He is an Egyption archeologist. He seems to believe in curses and things of that nature, he has many fans and many haters.
