What do you think of Joe Biden as Obama's running mate?

Obama is cagey and sneaky and a good liar/actor, but he's not very bright. Biden is known as "the dumbest man in the Senate," so by contrast, he makes Lil Barry look good.

Biden is fast being acknowledged as gaffe-prone, but brilliant. He has strong working knowledge of the committee process and is well-liked by people who work with him. I think he balances Obama and brings a useful Rolodex.

Pros: Joe is really liberal, good on foreign policy, and has all that experience that Obama gets criticized for not having. Cons: Joe is basically in the pocket of RIAA, so I think his copyright policies are downright draconian. Also, I don't think he's going to help sway the independent votes which is really what Obama needs.

he has a lot of experience which is good, but sometimes he gets really long-winded. i think it would be good if he could learn how to make his points concisely and clearly.
