What do you think happens to a person who does not know god before he dies?

I think it depends on the age and knowledge that the person has about God. God is a loving God and would not judge someone who has not had the opportunity or does not have the mental capacity to know him.

People have different definitions of God. What exactly is knowing God? God can be within us and then we feel we know him. Religion is not an exact science. We all have different beliefs and those beliefs take us into the beyond.

Believing in god is a choice. Some who believe in god are cruel and judgemental, others who don't are not. There are those who are both, but it does not mean they are a good person. Conduct during life determines what happens in the afterlife, if it even exists.

I believe that a person who has not received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior will spend an eternity in a place called Hell. You may know God but that is not the same as having a relationship with Him. So there knowing God is not good enough.

I think that God will not judge us by our lip service, but by the way we conduct and live our life. I do not believe that good people will be punished for eternity, because they did not follow a certain religion. I think God is way above it all.
