Hello, this is a wonderful version of "Somewhere over the rainbow" , the singer came from Hawaii and his name was : Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole. You could here this song on Youtube. Unfortunately he passed away some years ago - but his wonderful songs remain - even in TV shows - like ER. Enjoy - and I hope you could buy a CD.

The episode of ER in which Mark Greene dies is "On the Beach" (Season 8, episode 32). The song that is playing is the Israel Kamakawiwo`ole medley of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World". It reminds his daughter Rachel of the song he used to sing to her when she was little.
