What do you think about painting the whole room red?

Honestly, only looks good in the magazines, and even then it's pretty tacky. For a room that you frequent, I'm positive you would be sick of it within a month.

It depends on the room and the shade of red. Smaller rooms cannot handle intense colors, people feel closed in. Larger rooms, or accent wall, are excellent for bold colors.

red is a very alarming color. it triggers emotions such as anger and shame, a good example is bullfighters. however it is also pronged to trigger erotic emotions a good example is red roses triggering the emotions of love and passion

Painting an entire room red could prove great if its a darker red in a large room, otherwise it could just be to dark and to powerful. A good alternative is to paint an accent wall red, this will give a great addition to any room.

If you love red you should go for it. You should consider what furnishings you will put in it, making sure you have pieces that match and will hopefully provide a more neutral or calm presence within the room. Consider red on just one wall as an accent color too.

Red is a wonderful color that gives major impact. If you are looking an intense warm color red is the way to go. You may want to try an accent wall first just to make sure that red gives you the feel that you want. You can even mute the red and make it a little duller.
