What do you think about painting a small room yellow?

I like the color yellow, I'm all for it. The shade selected should be bright or pale and not dark, or the room will appear smaller. Also the ceiling should probably not be painted yellow, but left white. Consider white trim work also.

Bring home a bunch of paint samples to see how different yellow shades look with your room's furnishings. A lighter shade will make the room seem bigger and pleasantly bright, but a deep and strident shade of yellow may not be very relaxing. Pick the yellow that you prefer.

Choosing a color for any room can be daughting. Yellow can be a great color for any size room if it is the right shade. The most important thing is that you love it. You have to live with it.

Yellow is a beautiful color and will be perfect for a small room. Just go on the lighter end of the yellow spectrum rather than the darker end. It will make the room look bright and sunny.
