If you've never made a confession, then the first step is meeting with a priest so that he (or possibly she, in the Anglican tradition) can explain the process and protocol to you.
According to John 14:6, Jesus Christ is our only mediator and Savior who can offer us forgiveness and eternal life. We no longer have to confess our sins to priests.
