What do you do with stainless steel scrap?

I wash it off and then take it to the recycling center. It's important to recycle and keep it away from my kids. I have actually donated some cans to the high school for a senior project. I have even just thrown it away in the garbage but realized that just takes up more space and leads to more waste.

Stainless steel can be thrown out or traded in to a metal scrap dealer for cash. They are both valid options.

Locate a scrapyard that purchases metal scrap for recycling and take it to them so that they can send it on to a refiner for melting and recycling. Some recycling centers will also take it for refining but often will not pay you for the metal.

Look for recycling company and selling it to them! Look for welding Companies and sell it to them! Put up a poster 'Selling stainless scrap cheaply'
