What do you do with indoor/outdoor cats when you go on vacation?

It is probably best to take the cat to a boarding facility for the duration of the vacation. This way, you will know that the cat is cared for properly, and someone will be available to address any health emergencies.

If your cat is indoor outdoor and has the option to leave the house via a cat door he should be fine on his own. I suggest you have a friend or relative stop buy to check on him and give him some attention.

When going on vacation, you have two options for the care of your cats. You can let someone you trust cat-sit for you, either in your home or theirs. Usually a family member or close friend is willing to step up, or you can board your cat with the Vet.
