Black panther tracks look like dog tracks, with the differences that that panther being a cat has retracted claws so you will not see any claw marks. You will also see a three-lobed ball of foot print and a longer middle toe on a panther track as compared to a dog track.

There is a large depression matching the "palm" of the paw with 4 toes that each have a sharp claw at the end.
