What do the latter day saints believe about heaven?

Those who live righteously will eventually be able to dwell in Heaven. They believe Heaven is divided up into three degrees of glory since the level of righteous living varies. God lives in the highest kingdom. His children have the potential to live there with Him through the plan He provided and by the grace of the Savior Jesus Christ.

This is not an answer you can give in a few sentences. Briefly, we all came from "heaven" where we lived with God before we were born. It is called the pre-existence. After we die, we all go to heaven. There are 3 kingdoms in Heaven: Celestial, Terrestrial Telestial.
