What do quinceaneras dresses look like?

The quinceanera dresses that I have seen worn in Houston have looked like prom dresses. These dresses tend to have quite a bit of tulle on the skirt and are worn in a variety of colors, not just white. The girls also tend to wear tiaras and they have a "party" which wears the color she has picked out.

It all depends on the family, sometimes those dresses are made by grandmothers and sometimes those dresses are purchased and are very fancy.
