Lesions on the liver are either non painful cysts, blisters or sores on your liver. These signs are not symptoms of cancer. They are caused by periods of too much alcohol or overuse of medications.

Liver lesions may indicate that there might be an onset of liver or in some cases, enlargement of the liver. It definitely means that there is something wrong. It could lead to cirrhosis of the liver and If this is not treated with care, then fibrosis of the liver can also occur.

It is usually caused by long-term use of medication. Although it may indicate cancer, it is not definitely the case.
