What do I need for my truck to keep anything from flooding when mudding?

The main component is a snorkel kit. This allows for the air intake to remain above water level. There is also electrical insulation kits to keep it from shorting out.

when you go mudding you are always going to run into getting water or mud into the vehicle, it's inevitable. but you can take some extra precautions to prevent any damage on anything on the inside, such as bed-lining the floor after removing the carpet, extra silicone around any and all electronics, being careful of how deep the mud is.

it depends on how much you want to be mudding. a large truck can handle most mudding situations on its own. if you plan on going deep, you can put a snorkle type intake on it so that it will suck air from above the water instead of under it.
