See if your local community centers have any activities for teens. Sports and other outdoor activities might be good to keep as options. You may also want to have plans for seeing movies or live bands. Indoor gaming options like video games are also excellent. Every child is unique, ask for his tastes and opinions when possible.

Teenagers today have varied interests. Attending a sporting event would be a good bet on something teenage boys would enjoy. Other teenage pastimes for boys include going to the movies or playing video games. Just ask them. There will be no hesitation in letting you know what they enjoy doing.

Either play a computer console such as the PS3, Xbox or Wii. Or alternatively play the PC game World of Warcraft. If he is sports mad, then maybe soccer is a good plan or fishing. I'm sure you can find something that he will enjoy while staying with you for his school break.

At that age, I'm really certain that they will enjoy bike rides or rollerblading. If it is near winter season, then you could try out skiing or snowboarding with him.
