What disease is sweating a symptom of?

Primary Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating is due to over-stimulated sweat glands. Heavy sweating or secondary hyperhidrosis can be triggered by panic or anxiety attacks with the root cause in diet.

The onset of puberty can cause excess sweating. Sweating a lot can happen to otherwise healthy people. It may be a good idea to have medical evaluation because sometimes there can be a systemic or metabolic reason for this. There also is oral medications that can help this problem on the market.

Many conditions can cause excessive sweating. Neurological, metabolic, as well as a person's age can determine the amount a person sweats. Hyperhidrosis may be diagnosed if it persists.

Sweating is a sympton of so many conditions, over 700, that it would best be referred to a doctor for diagnosis.
