A family can be any group of people who love and care for each other. They can be related by blood or not. Some types of families are made up of groups of close friends, children who are not related, males, females, and pets. Families can also be various sizes from a couple to hundreds of people.

The definition of a family is completely relative to who you are and what situation you are in. Family to a child could mean parents and siblings, where as to others it could mean your best friend, or your lover and your child. Family is about unconditional love, understanding, and acceptance. Family doesn't judge or turn you down.

There are several things that can define a family, and every person has a different opinion of what a family is. I think that love is what makes a family, along with trust and loyalty.
