This could be nothing (change in pigmentation), or a very serious condition relating to a multitude of health problems. It's very important to get your puppy to a vet as soon as possible to have this properly diagnosed. It could mean the puppy has poor circulation or isn't getting enough oxygen!

If you notice your puppy's lips are discolored, it could be an indication of a serious health problem. Examine the puppy's lips and gums. Dark red, blue or white gums should be examined by your vet as soon as possible. A healthy puppy will have a bright healthy pink color.

Discolored lips on a puppy could mean sseveral things. It could be a simple differenc ein pigmentation, to a poor circulation problem. Poor circulation can be caused by heart conditions, etc... Your best bet is to take your puppy to a vet if concerned. Better to be safe than sorry.

it could mean that the pupply has a eart problem or that your puppy has anemia from fleas you need to take it in

If the marks are blueish black then it likely just natural pigmentation but if they are very pale or white then then it's low on blood and dehydrated.

Depends, my puppy's lips were a pinkish red and the vet said that it could be from too much rough play or irriation from something else. You always want to watch it and if it gets worse, you must take them to the vet.

If the pup is active, eats and drinks well and appears healthy it may be genetic. He must see a vet if he is short of breath or appears weak.
