If it's only swollen but not sore or itchy it could just be arousal. Otherwise you might be looking at an infection. If it persists, see a doctor.

Upon sexual excitement the labia may swell from the increased blood flow. The labia can also swell from inflammation or an infection such as a STD, bacteria, virus, or yeasts.

STD may cause swelling. An allergic reaction to tampoons may also be the cause of the swelling. When did the swelling first get noticed? A lot of sexual intercourse that is rough may also be the cause of swelling.
