For most automatic door locks there are a few reasons you can explore to resolve this issue. First check to see if the remotes batteries are low. It can also be related to the accuater inside the door, poor conection or they might just be worn out.

If it's just the door locks then it's probably a wiring problem. If it's remotely opperated then check the battery in your remote.

I would first make sure that you have a new battery in the remote and then reprogram it. If that doesn't help then you security system might be going bad.

Your door lock acuator is probably starting to go out. Take your vehicle into the dealer and they will fix it unless you know how to pull off the door panel and replace it.

There are a couple of things that could be going on. 1.) the fuse for the power locks is going bad, 2.) there could be a short circuit.

As far as i think forgetting the lock of a door of nissan quest without oiling can seriously cause its hesitation.
