What could cause ie to shut down when I use it?

Spy and/or malware might be the cause that Microsoft Internet Explorer does shut down. It is recommended to use a scanning tool to find and delete spyware and malware.

It could be a number of things, could be a virus or spyware. It could be you have too many things running in the background using too many resources.

Clear your Internet Explorer cache, then try again. If this doesn't work, delete the file MSIMGSIZ. DAT and then reopen IE.

Maybe the code is corrupted. There are some free web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome that you can download and use. They are faster than ie.
