What could cause a lump on my chest associated with chest pains?

I have chest pains and have a lump.

The two could be completely unrelated. You could simply have a cardiovascular problem, which would explain the chest pains while also having a cyst or a fat deposit which just so happens to be in the same place where you are feeling localized pain. It would be best to consult a health professional to avoid complications.

It could either be a breast lump or an abdominal aortic aneurysm. Breast tissue calcification could also cause a lump on the chest

It is very important to determine if the chest pain you have is cardiac in nature. You must see a physician to rule out heart problems and evaluate the lump.
