What could cause a fine patchy rash of the face?

A fine patchy rash or just about any sort of rash, save for a butterfly rash over the nose and cheeks, can be due to anything. The butterfly rash points towards Lupus.

allergies of some sort. sleeping on one side of the face, stopping blood flow. being bitten by some insect like spiders

This is caused by allergies especially hair dye and shampoo as well as soap allergies. Check the products you use as see it you are allergic to these products and treat symptomatically.

A mild allergic reaction to several items including cleansing, lotion, or makeup products. Also, this could be the beginning of mild psoriasis.
