What could be wrong if my wireless car alarm door opener is not working but when I open my door manually it goes off?

Things might simply need to be reset. Try disconnecting both terminals on the battery and let it sit for about ten min. then reconnect them and try it again.

It sounds like the battery for the opener has died. When you turn the opener over, there should be a shallow groove on the back. Insert a coin into the groove and turn it. Then the back should pop off and the battery should be visible for you to take out and replace.

It sounds like you are having a problem with the wireing. You should check to make sure that all the wires are properly connected and that nothing is loose. This should help the alarm to work better. Also make sure that nothing is water damaged. That can cause the alarm to not work.
