What could be wrong if my Toahiba DLP remote does not work?

Check to make sure the batteries in the remote are good batteries. Next, check to see if the remote is transmitting right at the DLP, and the sensors are not hidden. Try a programmable remote if that still doesn't work.

There could be multiple things wrong. First when you press a button, does anything light up on the remote? The batteries maybe dead, change them and see if there is a difference. If not look at the tv manual and the remote manual. Many remotes need to be programmed to the tv.

The batteries may be drained. Try to find a new pair of batteries and replace the current, possibly drained ones.
