The wheel bearings could be going out in you suburban. If its a four wheel drive the most common thing to check would be the u joints or front pumpkin could be making noise. Or it could be somthing as simple as bad or worn out breaks allowing the wear indicator tabs to get into the rotar.

More than likely it's just something loose underneath. Get underneath and do a check on all your components to make sure everything is tight.

A noise in the front end of a Suburban could indicate a slew of problems however the most common is when the cam belt is causing excess friction thus creating a sound.

Front ends are complex, especially if yours is a 4 wheel drive model. Contact your Chevrolet service center or a local repair shop. Before attempting this on your own, refer to one of those do-it-yourself manuals, they are good sources of information.

One problem might be Steering Intermediate Shaft, especially if you can feel it in the steering wheel. Other problems might be suspension issues, engine issues, e. g. knocking or bucking, or issues with the front wheels or brakes.
