What could be the cause of car trouble after stereo installation?

I just had a new stereo installed in my car.

This is way too vague. What kind of "trouble"? Electrical? Mechanical? You're going to need to be way more specific.

You could of got some wires mixed up. When splicing wires in the dash to hook up radio harnesses you can accidentally nick a few important wires like the ignition switch. Or it could be that its using to much power and your battery have ran down. Excessively trying to start it could be worse.

Depending on the vehicle and the security system that came with the car, a poorly wired stereo can disable a vehicle.

If you are having trouble starting the car, they may not have connected the battery completely. YOu could check the connections and tighten if needed. Otherwise, there is too much power going through your electrical system with the addition of the stereo and you need additional amperage to run the radio.
