If while drunk I get in the car with someone else driving who is also drunk will I be in trouble as well?

In most states there are laws that prevent people from having open alcohol containers and being drunk in public. If you are in the car when it gets pulled over you can be arrested if the police believe you are unable to care for yourself. Just call a taxi or a responsible driver.

Only if you have a warrant, otherwise your biggest problem will be walking home, because you've lost your ride. Walking home you could get a ticket for public intox.
