What could be the cause of blood and pain when a man urinates?

Blood and pain are not specific enough symptoms in and of themselves to make a diagnosis. It certainly could be an infection, but it also could be a sign of something very serious like renal failure. Either way, you need to see a doctor.

If a man experiences blood and pain when he urinates, he could have a venereal disease, a type of cancer or other malady.

This may be due to presence of urine stone and particles of urine stone come out when urinates. Culture urine and see the report. Drink plenty of fresh water daily.
