What could be going on, I am pregnant and have very sharp pains and pressure?

I am not certain if I should call my doctor or not.

This could be ligament stretching from the baby growing and putting pressure on your stomach. A warm bath should help you feel better.

You should always call your doctor's office if you have pain and pressure in the abdomen or crotch area while pregnant. It's possible to go into pre-term labor and they need to stop it, if it's too early to deliver, and keep your baby healthy.

Sharp pains can be a sign of back muscle spasms. However, the "pressure" is an early sign of labor starting. Call your doctor.

Sharp pains and pressure are sometimes a sign of labor. They can also be signs of fetal distress or other complications. While it is possible that other ailments can cause these symptoms, it is a good idea to call your doctor, who can ask some follow-up questions and assess whether you or the baby need immediate attention.
