What could be causing some of the keys on my keyboard not to work?

To my knowledge I have not had a spill onto it, what else could cause them to stick.

It's possible someone else spilled something without your knowledge. If so, you're probably looking at a new keyboard. Foreign objects can also get under the keys and prevent them from hitting their contacts. A can of compressed air can dislodge anything that gets under the keys. That would be a good next step that will only cost about $4.

Just normal every day dust could be getting in it. I would buy a can of air to use on it every few months to keep it clear of any dust.

There could be many reasons, but the most common one is liquid spill - which is probably not the cause in your case. It could be that some of the contacts are just worn out due to regular use. Try the keyboard on some other computer too.

Well The most common cause is pressing the keys with pressure more than normal pressure than they could bear. Other could be if you had ever ever tried to take keys out then this may also cause your keyboard to malfunction.
