Babies habits change throughout the first year or so, this is not unusual. Unless your child is showing signs of something serious being wrong, there is nothing to worry about.

Babies go through growth spurts and can revert to waking several times a night for a feeding. Babies can also become restless when teething. All babies are different and deal with growing individually.

It's common for babies who previously slept well to go through periods of night waking. At six months, teething pain is a common cause.

It is common for babies' sleep patterns to change. Could be your baby is teething and is being awakened by pain or discomfort. Could be your baby is going through a grow spurt and is needing more food. Could also be a developmental issue where your baby is realizing he/she is separate from you and is aware of being alone.
