Anytime your menstrual cycle is abnormal in any way, you should see a doctor. Heavy periods with fevers could be indicative of Inflammatory Pelvis disease which can be fatal if not treated.

A cause for a heavy period with a low grade fever is anemia. which can also be accompanied by fatigue, weakness, tiredness, even loss of breath during activity. It could also be caused by something as simple as the flu. the body fights infection in many many different ways. it could even be in part to diet.

A heavy period coupled with a fever could be an indication that you have an infection or other disease. This needs to be evaluated immediately.

Heavy periods with low grade fevers could be caused by an ovarian cyst. Make an appt. for an ultrasound. it will see if any cysts are present.

Could be a number of things. You might be pregnant. If your having pain, it could be uterine fibroid. It could be your level of hormones fluctuating. If it happens every time you get your period, you should go to doctor and have them examine you and make sure it's nothing to serious.

Low grade fever with heavy flow is suggestive of some pathology of uterus. It can also occur as a result of inflammation of endometrium of uterus. Consult a Gynecologist.
