There are many different things that could cause these symptoms. It is important that the child be evaluated by a doctor. If the doctor cannot give you an adequate answer, you may want to consider that your child may have allergies. I would suspect food allergies, rather than environmental allergies, but it could also be a combination of the two.

The low grade fever and slimy stool are probably teething. My son's stool gets SUPER runny, like liquid, when he's teething, and a low fever is normal. I would say that the eye rubbing is allergies, though. My son also has allergies and rubs one eye constantly if I forget his medicine even one day.

Babies start to show the teeth when they are six or seven months old. The symptoms like fever and slimy stool persists in children during these periods. It is common among all the children.

This sounds like some type of infection. Check to see if the child has reddness in the eyes and take them to a doctor to make sure. It could be pink eye.
