Are you right-handed? If yes, it might be a work-related strain from repetitive movements or bad posture. It's pretty common. Back/neck/shoulder issues can also manifest themselves in the arms.

Sometimes you can sprain or cause stress to a ligament or a muscle without realizing it. If you have ever bumped your elbow you'll understand what I'm talking about. If the pain occurs for a while then seek a Doctor.

One of the causes of pain in the right arm is elevated blood pressure. This can be a sign of hypertension, or just a temporary system from too much stress.

It might be due to a bad position during sleeping. You could be lying on the right side for some hours without changing position.

First, you should have it checked out by a physician. The pain may be insignificant. Perhaps you slept on it or the pain is from repetitive use such as curls to strengthen arm muscles.

Well If i were you I would go and get it checked because the pain could be anything. There could be some kind of paralysis of your right arm and that is why you are feeling blockages of pain in that arm which is not really a great thing so check it out.
