The pain in your head could be caused by allergies or by a sinus infection. Allergies can range anywhere from pet dander to pollen in the air. It also includes dust and dust mites. A sinus infection can cause painful headaches, blurred vision, runny noses or sneezing and coughing. They can usually be treated with nasal spray.

Usually when you feel pain somewhere, no matter where it is, it is more pronounced while inhaling than exhaling. This is caused by the oxygen coming it. So you may just have a regular headache but it feels worse when you inhale. Or it could be a sinus infection as the reason it hurts while inhaling.

This can be a sign of a sinus infection. It could be a sign of migraine headaches worsened by allergies. It could be a pressure differential caused by the Eustachian tubes not doing their job, which can be caused by fluid or an ear infection in the ear preventing pressure changes within the body.
