What conversion factor would be used to increase the portion size from 8 oz. to 10 oz. in a recipe that serves 10?

+6

You increase each ingredient by 25% of their original amount, making the final yield 5/4's of the original quantities. This is determined by 10/8 which simplifies to 5/4, and the percentage increase is determined by (10-8)/8 = 2/8 = 1/4 = 25%.

All the ingredients have to be multiplied with 1.25.Considering that from the initial recipe we obtain 10 pcs at 8 oz.,the total ingredients are 80 .To obtain 10 pcs.at 10 oz. we need ingredients at 100.If initially sugar was 20gr in order to obtain 80 , then for 100 how much sugar needed? 100/80x20=1.25x20=25,and so on for all the ingredients.
