All cnidarians have tissues and are radially symmetrical. They all are carnivorous predators and have tentacles equipped with cnidocytes which are specialized cells that function in defense and the capture of prey. Lastly cnidarians have a gastrovascular cavity with a single opening that serves as both a mouth and an anus.
