Autistic savants generally have poor daily life skills and social skills but extreme talents in other areas. Common areas of talent are math, music, and art. It is possible to have savant skills and still have relatively high functioning, this would be Asperger's Syndrome. It is thought Einstein had Asperger's Syndrome.

Some characteristics are sometimes socially awkward, photographic memory, excelling at tasks that are harder for average people, and having exceptional talents in music, mathematics or art.
