What color highlights should I get?

Alighter blonde would probably look pretty. Most pros agree that highlights should be at least a shade lighter than your hair.

You could go with a shade or two lighter blonde to give it a more natural look or you could try a few shades darker than your hair for a more noticeable look. Never go with anything darker than light brown, it will come out looking very unnatural and tacky.
