Some drugs such as chemotherapy drugs can cause low blood count. Leukopenia, Neutropenia, and Granulocytopenia are other conditions that may contribute to a low blood count.
It depends on if the low counts are in you red blood cells or your white. Excessive bleeding, viral infection or even cancer can cause low blood counts.
