Well here in the USA the car market was still pretty well focused on American cars like Chevrolet's camaros, Ford's mustang, and Doge's Challenger.

Some of the most popular cars back in 1969 were the Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am. You also have the Pontiac Grand Prix. Pontiac was really coming up in the big world back in 69 and now they are no longer around.
