For winter, pair standard dark boots with thick/flowing skirt (1-2inches past boots), a tighter top (long or short sleeves), and a simple hat/scarf combination tops it off. For a summer look, go with short/half-length boots(cowgirl-style!), matching with short jean skirt and cowgirl-hat. Cavalier's reach about mid thigh, for any weather. Match with short skirt(jean) or tight pants(stretchy/jean) and over-sized bag.

You can "wear" just about anything with boots but it really depends on the style. Fur lined boots go well with jeans and leggings while slim, leather boots look great with jeans, leggings and skirts. Choose your boots and then look at some fashion magazines with models in similar styles.

I like to wear jeans and jacket with dark boots. Skirts also work with dark boots depending on the style of the boots, especially short or knee length skirts. This is expecially cute if the boots are higher on the leg. I wouldn't go above the knee or it looks a little trashy.

Anything. You can wear skinny jeans, a skirt, a dress.My favorite look is dark cowboy boots with skinny jeans and a simple tshirt. The boots stand out more that way and it looks like the outfit has more style to it. A simple tshirt would be a normal crew neck nice fitting top that goes well with color of boots.
