What can you tell me about the Z1 computer?

The Z1 computer was built sometime around 1938 and was destroyed in 1943 during the war when Berlin was bombed. As any main frame back then, it was operated by turning on and off switches (binary type coding) and was basically an early (and slow) version of our modern calculator.

the Z1 computer was designed around 1938 by Konrad Zuse it was the first computer of its type and was destroyed during World War II. The Z1 was followed by the Z2 and Z3.
