I assume you already have a wireless router and both computers are connected to it. If both computers have Windows 7, sharing files between them is very easy. Create a Homegroup and choose which folders you'd like to share. Older versions of windows can share files using Windows File and Printer sharing.

Both the system domain name should be same. So with the help of network it is possible to interconnect both the system.
