What can you tell me about the Portsmouth, OH murals?

Robert Dafford of Louisiana is repsonsible for the whole Portsmouth Ohio mural project. He paints May through September. It is twenty feet high and over two thousand fee wide. It is an outdoor floodwall showing two centuries of Portsmouth history. The artists are all volunteers. Much of the artwork is three dimensional.

They're located on the flood wall which runs along Front street. The 2200 feet of murals are scenes of historical significance. They were painted by Robert Dafford.
