Sexual offenders under Florida state laws are not to live within 5 blocks of any elementary, middle, or high school, and not to go within 2 blocks of any said schools. All offenders are required to register with the national sex offender database and keep it current with recent address information.

Sexual offenders in Florida are required to register with the Department of Justice. They are required to only live a certain distance from schools, parks and places children congregate. Some offenders must also submit to active tracking.
