Properly painting a zinc-coated surface can be quite a challenge. If done incorrectly, the paint will eventually flake and peel. Be sure to clean the entire surface well - use of solvents may be necessary. Then use a phosphate or chromate pretreatment before applying the coat (or coats) of epoxy paint.
