Your crabs need a saltwater bath, scrub their housing with a vinegar/water solution Ask pet store, look online for the proper procedure and exact amounts of aquarium salt to use.

Remove your hermit crab and all his accesories from his tank. Wash the tank and accesories well with water and baking soda. Make sure you rinse very well. Allow to dry. Change the sand in your crabs tank and place him back in. This should help to cear up mites.
