By washing your hair more often, you can decrease the amount of time it will take to get the dye out. Lighter colors of dye do fade even more quickly than darker colors.

You can't get permanent dye out without having to cut all of your hair. I would suggest redying it, but wait two to three weeks to get better results.

Apply a stripping/ Lightening treatment to hair as per manufactures instructions until desired lightness is achieved Will be orange or yellow depending on how light you want to go... but do not lighten too much!. Then choose color desired and color hair as per manufactures instructions. If you have permanent BLACK color you will not be able to lighten very much.

The only thing you can really do is lift the hair, and even this will probably make your hair lighter than it is naturally. If you don't like the color it turns, you can always dye your hair closer to its natural color so it will grow in well.
